the university I am currently studying at is a lot easier than UC Berkeley and it is nice to have such small classes (generally smaller than 35 students). the grading system seems to be about equal, if not easier in some cases. |

Kristin Kerr is one of the biggest assets to this program. She's a great academic advisor to us as students, as well as a very helpful and knowledgeable guide when it come to planning weekend trips, flights, train travel, etc. Also, she coordinates great events such as hikes, weekend trips, dinners, and day trips which are included in the price of the CEA program... These events FAR exceeded my expectations! |

* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I live with one other roommate. We each have our own living space and our apartment is equipped with our own washing machine! |

The food is great, but there is no "meal plan" that is included in the exchange. We live a good distance from the school and we have our our kitchens for cooking/there are lots of restaurants around. |

* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
There are too many to count! There was a fabulous day trip to Nice, Eze, & Monaco where we went to these fabulous destinations and stopped for shopping/sightseeing and a tour of a perfume factory. We did a weekend trip to the Provence Region where there were lots of fun stops and many meals were included. We did a few trips to nearby islands like St. Marguerite and St. Tropez for hiking/sightseeing. We did pumpkin carving as well! And there are a lot more trips to come! |

How well were health issues addressed during the program? |

Antibes is a very safe town (much safer than Nice). |

| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | This program is great for students who want to study in France, but not in a busy city like Paris. It is also well suited to people who like better weather than in Northern France. |
