* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I did not have any health care issues, but I know that the doctor on campus was free for us to visit if we needed to.

* Safety:

Alicante is a family city and it is extremely safe! I never once felt unsafe walking alone during the day or at night.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

CEA is the best affiliate program to partner with because they do all the dirty work for you - they provide housing, plan activities and excursions, and help you organize your schedule and transcripts. The onsite staff, Adriana and Alvaro, as well as the staff back in the US are extremely helpful.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

If you don't stay with a host family (which includes meals), groceries in Alicante were still very cheap. I think I spent 50-60€ a month on groceries.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 10-20€ a week for eating out
