Overall Experience
I learned a lot about Australia and a lot about myself. It was the greatest experience of my life. - University of Massachusetts Amherst View Entire Review
totally worth while! - University of Minnesota - Twin Cities View Entire Review
I learned a lot about myself, and it has made me want to see more of the world and what all foreign countries have to offer! - Anderson University View Entire Review
Yes, it was very worthwhile. I needed an internship for my major so it was great for me. I am just disappointed that our classes weren't in a large university there. I feel that I wasn't exposed to a lot of Australian's because all of my time was at work or with my program friends, so it wasn't like we were going to branch ou... - University of Minnesota - Twin Cities View Entire Review

yes! It was very worthwhile. I gained independence, learned how to tackle public transportation and most importantly made a career change. I am now going to pursue working with children with Autism because of my internship. - Anderson University View Entire Review
Absolutely! I wish I could go back and do it all over again! I'm more laid back and not as stressed. I would definitely consider working in Australia after I've interned there. - University of Massachusetts Amherst View Entire Review
It was completely worthwhile, it gave me a better global perspective on how my home country is viewed and also how other countries and cultures act, talk, and socialize. I would recommend going t... - Marshall University View Entire Review

About

A breathtakingly beautiful coastal city, Sydney is an exciting and diverse place to study abroad with 120 nationalities and the rhythm of 250 languages spoken here. That means delicious foods from around the world fill the markets and there are international celebrations like Buddha’s Birthday Multicultural Festival to join in on. It can be laid-back, with more than 100 beaches and dozens of coastal walks to enjoy, but it’s also one of the biggest business hubs in the Asia-Pacific region and has been named the “innovation and technology capital of Australia”.

The CAPA Sydney program is based in TAFE NSW Sydney Institute, in a beautiful centrally located heritage building. Our distinctive blend of academic and experiential education takes your learning style, interests, preferences and independence into consideration.

You’ll learn both inside the classroom and beyond, with field studies, excursions, My Global City events, and an (optional) internship placement.
