A student studying abroad with CAPA International Education: London Study or Intern Abroad
I consider myself a very open-minded person, but I never realized how forceful American culture was my whole life. London is an incredibly multi-cultural city so I was able to experience more than just the stereotypical British culture. It was honestly the most amazing opportunity I've ever had in my life and I miss the city ter... - University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth View Entire Review

Past Review Capa London
I signed up for this program with a friend because I was nervous to go on my own. Looking back on it now, I regret that decision. I wish I never did because it really hurt our friendship. I learned a lot about myself, about other countries and cultures, and I absolutely loved it. I was able to travel a lot and saw a lot of the w... - Rider University View Entire Review
I am not lying when I say this was the most worthwhile experience of my entire life. Having an internship abroad was the perfect experience. And not just any internship, but one with the NBC bureau. My internship through CAPA was absolutely the best decision I could have made. Yes, you have to pay for it, but when you get back to the States with a letter of recommendation coming from London, it will more than pay for itself. - Missouri State University View Entire Review
I gained an affinity for learning about new cultures. Though I was able to travel all over Europe and beyond, I only scratched the surface of the list of cities I was to visit. This experience was 100 percent worthwhile. - University of Delaware View Entire Review

Past Review Awesome
Gave me a new perspective on my education (I am pre-med and medical education is VERY different in England). The experience definitely broadened my horizons - it was very worthwhile! - University of Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh View Entire Review

I learned a lot about myself and what it feels like to be outside of my own comfort zone and family. I also learned to be more open to new experiences and meet new people. - Northeastern University View Entire Review

About

Experience London personalized to your unique interests. Explore the city with immersive courses and gain skills with internship placements that give you an edge in your future career. Go beyond! Apply today, scholarships are available.

Take a hop across the pond and you’ll see that CAPA’s London program will always remind you you’re somewhere new. Yes, you will be in an English-speaking country, but from afternoon tea breaks to the various cultures London is home to, you will be surrounded by a set of new experiences. Try your hand at learning some new vocabulary (“trousers” are “pants”, a “flat” is an “apartment”, and let’s not get started on “chips” and “fries”…) as you take the tube (subway) to class. London has always been a center for the arts, from everything to beloved bands like The Beatles to the writings of Virginia Woolf. Enjoy the inspiration that will surround you, and create some of your best work while you create some of your best memories.

The courses, internships, service learning, and cultural activities you'll experience will be unlike anything you've known before. Our courses will challenge and inspire you to come up with new ideas and help change the world. The CAPA London Center is centrally located in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in two Victorian townhouses, giving you an authentic feel of the city. The CAPA London staff are available to provide support as you adapt to a new culture, as well as a 24-hour emergency hotline.
