I learned to be more independent and go outside of my comfort zone. There are so many different kinds of people and cultures in the world. We need to broaden our horizons and learn more about the world around us. It was absolutely worthwhile! - Clark University - Worcester View Entire Review

I gained new friends for life. I learned how to be more independent and yet more involved in the world around me. It was incredibly worthwhile. - University of Massachusetts Amherst View Entire Review
I gained so much independence and a broader worldview from studying abroad. I learned how to live with others and ended up learning a lot about myself and what I want to do after graduation. It was completely worthwhile and I would do it again if given the chance. - Arizona State University View Entire Review
Yeah it was worthwhile. I loved my internship but London was not my style - Clark University - Worcester View Entire Review
While I didn't care for CAPA, I loved every minute of being in London. It was incredibly worthwhile, and I'd love to go back as soon as possible. - University of Minnesota - Twin Cities View Entire Review
In myself I've noticed a much greater tolerance for chaos, an adaptation I am reluctantly grateful to my former flat mates for. Of course, any traveling experience forces you to realize the things that are truly necessary and meaningful in life; I have developed intuitively a sense that the things that happen to people are not g... - Southwestern University View Entire Review

I signed up for this program with a friend because I was nervous to go on my own. Looking back on it now, I regret that decision. I wish I never did because it really hurt our friendship. I learned a lot about myself, about other countries and cultures, and I absolutely loved it. I was able to travel a lot and saw a lot of the w... - Rider University View Entire Review
I am not lying when I say this was the most worthwhile experience of my entire life. Having an internship abroad was the perfect experience. And not just any internship, but one with the NBC bureau. Not many programs have those type of connections, and the experience I gained there was invaluable. I felt behind before studying ... - University of Missouri - Columbia View Entire Review
My internship through CAPA was absolutely the best decision I could have made. Yes, you have to pay for it, but when you get back to the States with a letter of recommendation coming from London, it will more than pay for itself. - Missouri State University View Entire Review
I gained an affinity for learning about new cultures. Though I was able to travel all over Europe and beyond, I only scratched the surface of the list of cities I was to visit. This experience was 100 percent worthwhile. - University of Delaware View Entire Review
From this experience I gained valuable knowledge from my internship on how to manage my time and what a real work environment is like. Also, being emerged into a global city allowed me to find a sense of myself in the real world. Cooking my own meals, commuting to work and to class and managing my time without any assistance fro... - Stonehill College View Entire Review
I was able to live in the city and experience it as a local. I think that may have been the best part for me. - University of California - San Diego View Entire Review
I learned how to live on my own/independently, ways to balance social life/work/school, adapting to foreign environments/putting myself into unfamiliar situations. I wouldn't have given up this opportunity for the life of me. - University of Minnesota - Twin Cities View Entire Review

CAPA London is one of the most diverse, successful study abroad program as I know of, and definitely the most amazing experience in my life! Take a hop across the pond and you’ll see that CAPA’s London program will always remind you you’re somewhere new. Yes, you will be in an English-speaking country, but from afternoon tea breaks to the various cultures London is home to, you will be surrounded by a set of new experiences. Try your hand at learning some new vocabulary (“trousers” are “pants”, a “flat” is an “apartment”, and let’s not get started on “chips” and “fries”…) as you take the tube (subway) to class. London has always been a center for the arts, from everything to beloved bands like The Beatles to the writings of Virginia Woolf. Enjoy the inspiration that will surround you, and create some of your best work while you create some of your best memories.

The courses, internships, service learning, and cultural activities you'll experience will be unlike anything you've known before. Our courses will challenge and inspire you to come up with new ideas and help change the world. The CAPA London Center is centrally located in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in two Victorian townhouses, giving you an authentic feel of the city. The CAPA London staff are available to provide support as you adapt to a new culture, as well as a 24-hour emergency hotline.
