About

BCA Rome includes three major educational components: Italian Language, Italian Area Studies and an Independent Study Project for a total of 16 credits. The class numbers are small, so each student receives attention from the instructor. The courses are held in the centre, Via La Spezia, close to the basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano and not far from the Colosseum and the Termini Station.

Why BCA Rome?

  • Experience one of most extensive archeological zones sites in
the world; the breadth, quality and quantity of its museum collections
are unequalled; and its climate and food are the envy of many other
    global cities.

  • Become part of the dynamic contemporary life and rich history of this remarkable city.

  • Learn the Italian language, study with both scholars and local people in a variety of settings.

  • Broaden your cultural interests and understand the world, as well as the roots and evolution of Western civilization.

Since 1962, BCA Study Abroad has been committed to helping students
understand the complexities of the contemporary world by providing
challenging academic programs and cross-cultural learning in locations
around the globe. From its start, BCA has focused its educational
mission on engaging students with ideas that matter. As a result,
students who participate in a BCA program gain a more comprehensive and
precise understanding of the world.
