Perspectives on PalestineThe curriculum of the program focuses on the rigorous, trans-disciplinary, and comparative study of Palestinian society and cultures in the Middle East, with primary attention to questions surrounding the relationships, historical and contemporary, among Palestinians. The program is designed for students of all academic disciplines with strong interests  in societies and cultures of Middle Eastern peoples. BCA Signature Seminar: Social Justice, Women's Rights and RefugeesTo accomplish our educational goals,the program includes a BCA Study Abroad “Signature Seminar” dedicated to the themes of social justice, women's rights and refugees, and to a series of carefully selected educational excursions, visits and lectures in Palestinian towns, colleges and universities including Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Ramallah, Nablus, Jenin, and a range of villages and refugee camps in the Occupied West Bank.The Signature Seminar is a multidisciplinary study of Palestine, past and present, from the perspectives of the Palestinians and Israelis. It is divided into two parts spanning approximately five weeks of the overall program. 

Since 1962, BCA Study Abroad has been committed to helping students understand the complexities of the contemporary world by providing challenging academic programs and cross-cultural learning in locations around the globe. From its start, BCA has focused its educational mission on engaging students with ideas that matter. As a result, students who participate in a BCA program gain a more comprehensive and precise understanding of the world.

Financing study abroad can be a challenge for many students. BCA would like to help make things a bit easier by offering you a chance to apply for a scholarship toward the cost of your BCA Study Abroad experience. The scholarships are open to all BCA Study Abroad applicants who meet the requirements and apply by the deadline with the appropriate documentation.

To be considered, you must: • Currently be enrolled at a U.S. college or university • Be accepted into a BCA program • Complete the BCA Scholarship Application • Submit the most recent copy of your Financial Aid Award letter from your college or university
