This was the first time I had left the United States completely alone and I had an amazing experience. I am very keen now to go abroad alone again, the trip has given me more confidence and helped me assure that the medical field is for me. I would recommend this program to any medical student from any field or even not related to medical who might be undecided and is figuring out what he/she wants to do. This program is a great way to see many different departments and see how hospitals work in other countries, plus get shadowing hours!
