This program is for high school teens looking to gain pre-career experience to lay the pathway towards becoming a doctor, nurse, surgeon or other health professional. This pre-med high school program builds your resume by combining career exposure with hands-on medical workshops to immerse you in the healthcare field. Medical immersion experiences include touring the university medical school, visiting hospital simulation labs, deep-diving into the world of medicinal plants, taking a Medical Spanish class and learning about the world-famous Costa Rican universal healthcare system.
