Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The classes were easier than UT classes. But I got a lot out of my Italian classes. The teachers really cared about you improving your Italian, which I found to be very helpful.

The staff was great! They were very helpful.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

Go can't go wrong with any restaurant in a small Italian town!! And the grocery stores provide good and cheaper options.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The opportunities to travel around Italy were great! We took a lot of day trips to small towns like Siena, Bologna, and Verona. Those were some of my favorite trips!

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Overall, Perugia is a pretty safe town.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Perugia is a smaller Italian town and I definitely met some Italians who did not know English.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? It's a great program to consider if you want to improve your Italian, but still want to be able to speak English.
