I learned a lot more Spanish and how different cultures can be. It was worthwhile.

I have allergies to gluten and my host mother made sure I had a variety of foods and enough to eat.

I had pink eye and we went to the doctor's and got it taken care of.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Don't buy too many presents for your family.

Because all the students in our program spoke English we would speak English when we were together. I actually thought that this was good beause it provided breaks from Spanish.
