American College Dublin: Irish Language & Culture Program

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
The streets of Dublin are littered with friendly international travelers! Going on this trip bolstered my confidence to go out and take chances. It's been my experience that people are pretty nice where ever you go and don't mind helping foreigners (except for London haha, don't know what's up with that place). Meeting new people over and over again also helped me become more aware of my social habits and more comfortable being outgoing. This program is definitely worth checking out!

The Nearly Native or Trail Blazer
Craving the most authentic experience possible, perhaps you lived with a host family or really got in good with the locals. You may have felt confined by your program requirements and group excursions. Instead, you'd have preferred to plan your own trips, even skipping class to conduct your own 'field work.'
