Summer Study Abroad

DIS offers a range of summer courses of varying lengths and structures, and many include a study tour to a destination in Denmark or Europe.

• Choose from 17 early summer course options across various disciplines, running in two consecutive three-week sessions.
• For students interested in Architecture & Design, Furniture Design, or Textile Design in Scandinavia, the program comes as a comprehensive package offering nine credits; six credits for studio and three credits for the corresponding lecture course. Programs run from late June to mid-August.
Cultural immersion and Engagement
• Choose from five diverse housing options
• Take the DIS Language & Culture Course
• Explore Danish culture with DIS buddies and visiting host families
• Participate in DIS local trips and clubs, as well as an Immersion Fair to introduce you to local organizations
