What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
My french improved greatly (fluency and understanding), I was exposed to a different learning style in the French university system, and I made many valuable and important connections. It was 100% worthwhile!

Being in a host family was one of the most valuable aspects of the program, I developed a much stronger connection to Aix thanks to my host family!

  • On-site director and assistant directors were always readily available and very helpful!
* What could be improved?
  • Would be great to get a more specific breakdown of the money we are paying.
  • The cultural stipend was wonderful, but sometimes the options we could use it on felt a little limiting...
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? How different the French university system is, and how important it is to do readings and other extra research outside the classroom is.
