07/23/2014 Amazing!
I learned so many new things while on this trip. We had a lot of experiences that we could never have at home, like hiking an active volcano and watching it erupt while standing at the top. The time abroad was completely beyond worthwhile. - University of Northern Iowa
I felt immersed in the culture daily. There was plenty of free time for us to independently (with small groups) roam the cities or surrounding areas and see what it is like to be there on your own. I learned a lot from the teaching but almost equally from my own experiences chatting with locals and seeing nightlife in the differ... - University of Northern Iowa

That there is more to life than just staying in Iowa/America. I thought it was very worthwhile, I've only been outside Iowa 12 times and never saw the ocean ever. So this was quite the experience to go across the ocean to see it for the first time. - University of Northern Iowa

There is so much more than small-town Iowa. The only time I'd been out of the country was for an afternoon picnic in Canada when I was 9. The world has so much history and cultures and experiences to offer that it's a sin to not take advantage of it all! - University of Northern Iowa

It was totally worthwhile. I gained so much insight on how much cultures have changes through the years. The beauty of all the buildings in Rome took my breath away.
