Review Your Program
|
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The workload we had was very easy. Czech language is hard to learn but our teachers were great. |
|
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
Our leader did not seem to express much interest in the rest of our group and I do not believe she graded completely fair. |
| * Housing: |
We lived in dorms which were old and not in the best quality with other international students but it had a great environment. Washers and the dryer were not the best quality but that is to be expected in the whole country I think. |
| * Food: |
Food was great! It is cheap and filling. |
|
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
The whole trip was amazing. We got to travel to so many places and see so many things. There was enough time with free weekends, spring break, and free week that you will be bale to travel wherever you want. |
|
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
| * Safety: |
Healthcare was accesible. In the country of the Czech Republic I rarely felt unsafe. |
|

How well did University of Nebraska - Kearney prepare and support you for your time abroad? |
|

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|

A Look Back
| * If you could do it all over again, would you choose the same program? | Yes |
| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | Open minded students would benefit from this program. There is no way a high maintenance or picky person would get along here. |
| * What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile? | I have become so much more broad minded and accepting of other cultures and people, I hope to return to Europe in the future. This is a great program. |
