What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned a lot about independence. I also decided that I want to use my nursing degree to help others out in either Costa Rica or another country in Latin America.

A Look Back

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Keep in mind that Costa Rica is still a developing country so there will be surprises, but thats what makes the experience. Losing electricity and water randomly, taking cold showers, and never exactly knowing what your eating is all part of the fun.
