Spanish Style: Studying In MadridI am currently teaching English in southern Spain for a year through a government program. I would never have considered this program without my study abroad program. They also assisted me in finding and applying for this program, three years after I first left Spain! |

(No Title)Ultimately, it was worthwhile, because it was part of life. I think I learned most about what I'm NOT more than having a match with who I am. I would have definitely thrived more in a different environment and actually left the program for that reason. I know plenty of people who loved it, so this is definitely a personal opinio... |

(No Title)I gained a lot of clarity about myself as a person, and improved greatly on my Spanish. I made a lot of great Tufts friends, and traveled all over Europe (and even a little bit of Africa!). |

(No Title)Definitely! I made new friends with great people at Tufts, I lived with a family who was so warm and open to learn about new cultures, and I got to live and be a 'citizen' of a country that I had only visited before. |

(No Title)It was everything a European study abroad should be, a new language, history and art, nightlife, travel, sufficiently challenging but not overwhelming classes and nice people. I improved my Spanish, learned a lot about Spanish culture, saw a little bit of Europe and realized I would love to spend more time in Spain and Europe. |

(No Title)Yes, it was. I gained so much that is intangible that it's almost worthless to try and describe it here. It's a very personal experience. The one thing I would say is that it made me a more confident, expressive person and a lot less worried about the opinions of others. I think I'm just happier with life now. |

(No Title)My study abroad experience was completely worthwhile. I'd go back and do it all over again in a heartbeat. |
