The Tufts-in-London program, which enrolls up to fifty students, is completely integrated into University College London and the School of Oriental and African Studies.

With a student population of around 3,000, of whom approximately one-quarter are from outside the UK, SOAS is considerably smaller than its close neighbor, UCL, but since its formation in 1916, it has built an equally strong academic reputation as a world center for the study of an extensive range of subjects- including languages- concerned with Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.

Tufts in London is a one-year program of academic study, and only students who apply for the full year will be accepted.
