Fabulous Study Abroad In Chile Introduces New Language And Culture

I loved this experience. It was great to try out a new culture and get a lot more comfortable with another language. The program through Tufts was great because they were really interested in helping us figure everything out without babying us. The resident director is great, as is the Tufts faculty advisor.

Tufts In Chile: Check It Out!

I think for me, my study abroad experience showed me what it is like to simply LIVE in another country, another culture, another language, another way of life. For me, it was extremely rewarding, exhilarating, sometimes frustrating, day-to-day and extremely new experience. I think I learned to accept that people aren't going to ...

Tufts In Chile: Fantastic Support For A Complete Experience Of Chile

I was amazed at the amount I gained academically. I had the opportunity for original research, for teaching, and to push myself in classes. I grew immensely on a personal level as well, because it allowed me to see myself from a different point of view and in new situations. I am most proud of my accomplishments while living ...

Great Chilean Experience

I improved my language skills, got to know new people and travel around a new country, and now understand a different perspective. It didn't really changed by academic interests.

Chile: Challenging Though It Will Change You

Yes. I cannot tell you what I learned. It is something abstract, but it was the catalyst for everything I accomplished my senior year and there after.

The experience was definitely worthwhile. If Chile isn't right for you, try to find a place that is. Any experience will be worth it!

Yes! I had a great time in Chile. I would say that academically it was not as challenging at Tufts but that may have been a good thing for me. It gave me the chance to take a step back and think about other things for once. I had the time to explore other interests, make friends, and reflect on what I want to do. And when I was ...

It was worthwhile. I learned a lot about Chilean Politics, the people, and the region. You will learn a lot no matter what you do.

I definitely think that studying abroad forced me to appreciate the wealth of backgrounds and experiences that different people have. I was once again shown the importance of patience and appreciation and the benefits of being laid-back¡

My Spanish improved, I met new people, I learned a lot from my interactions with Chileans, I had a great internship experience in which I got to witness something I've studied firsthand. For me, it was a very worthwhile experience.

A new and interesting perspective not only on Latin America, but on my life here in the United States as well. I learned the important lesson that its perfectly healthy, and important, to make a fool of yourself! When you are out of your element you learn the most.
