The clothes you're wearing, the cell phone in your pocket, your tax preparation, your medical diagnosis, customer service on the other end of the phone, components of your car (and perhaps the entire car), are likely products and services you enjoy through access to a global mark... A Look Back
| * If you could do it all over again, would you choose the same program? | Yes |
| * What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile? | My participation in the Asia Study Abroad Program was the most formidable experience of my undergraduate career. ASAP is not just an exposure to different cultures, but an immersion into global business environments and religion that have changed my perspective on the world. As a direct result of my ASAP experience I had the opportunity to work in Cambodia for an international commercial reforestation company. I would highly recommend ASAP for adventurous students who are looking for something beyond the ordinary, generic study abroad programs that are available today. Exposure to multi-national companies in a global business context while immersed in a multitude of different cultures has given me the opportunity and perspective to grown professionally and personally beyond the limitations of a regular undergraduate program. |
