Tuanis!I loved my study abroad experience! I wouldn't trade it for anything! Costa Rica was a great place to learn about a different culture, and it is a beautiful country to explore. Hopefully I will be able to use the Spanish I learned in Costa Rica in the future, and I plan on returning to Costa Rica at some point later on. |

Pura Vida!My experience was definitely worthwhile. I fell in love with the Spanish language all over again, became more relaxed and more family oriented, and more confident in myself. |

Learn Pura Vida In Costa RicaI gained a lot of language skills. I am also much more accepting and have incorporated a little bit of pura vida into my life. I am much more laid back and more interested in exploring different areas, even within the states. Every new experience offers room for growth. |

Costa Rica: You Get What You Put Into ItIf I could do it again, I would go independently without any program. I am an independent person and travel / adapt well and I found that the program limited me in some ways and made the trip more expensive than it needed to be. Once I was actually there and met students who arranged it independently, I thought that seemed ideal... |

San Jose; Where My Heart IsStudying abroad with ISA in San Jose, CR was the most rewarding experience of my life. In the short span of three months (believe me, it will feel too short!) that I was there, not only did my language skills improve, I made some amazing friendships with locals and fellow international students, and learned a tremendous amount ... |

Study Abroad To Costa Rica Was Amazing!!!I learned to let go of the stress and live life more carefree and happily. I also built wonderful friendships and learned to enjoy the little things in life. It was relaxing and though my spanish skills didn't improve quite as much as I wanted, I still overcame my fear of speaking the language with others on a regular basis. |

Study Abroad San Jose, Costa Rica: An Experience Of A LifetimeYes it was worthwhile!! My time in Costa Rica was beyond compare. My host family definitely made the experience all that it was. My language skills really improved, and my comprehension was near 100% at the end of the program. I am definitely more aware of the political/economic situations of Central American countries, and u... |

Costa Rica Taught Me A Lot About Myself.I was not satisfied with the program - i think it was slightly misreading in that the structure of the courses was not explained fully or clearly. If I had known I was going to a "specialty school" (School of Art & Design) I would never have gone considering 1-my major had nothing to do with that and 2- I have no artistic abilit... |

Life Changing Time In Costa RicaYes, yes, yes. It's very difficult to truly explain how amazing your time aboard is and how much it changes you. I'm more confident, flexible, and culturally aware than I was before I went. My study aboard experience was completely worthwhile and so much more than I expected. I would go again in a heartbeat, and recommend studyi... |

My Experience In San Jose, Costa Rica, Fall Of 2010It was extremely worthwhile. I took in about four semesters of Spanish and challenged my levels of comfort. I feel more adaptable, flexible, and capable of being in a foreign place. Going to Costa Rica jump-started my interest in environmentalism. I left with fond memories of my host family (and the food) that I will always ... |

"Pura Vida! San Jose Costa Rica!" Studying Abroad In Costa Rica Gave Me Confidence!Yes, it was worthwhile. It forced me to do something outside of my comfort zone and meet new people. I was able to interact with Costa Ricans and see how they in turn viewed the United States. I am going to law school this fall and want to eventually practice International Law with a concentration on Spanish language. I hope to ... |

Costa Rica & Pura Vida: A Chance To Live Life To The Fullest.I will never view the world or even the United States the same way again. Ugly things do exist, but people all over the world are so beautiful. I will definitely spend as much time as possible traveling throughout my lifetime. |

Costa Rica: Life Without Worriesnot to let stress rule my life; things will get done, it always works out how it should. School and work and life is all about priorities. I have had lots of interaction with Latin American students and cultures, but living in it was so much more potent. I had always wanted to learn Spanish, and this was an excellent opportunity... |

Costa Rica Was The Best 4 Months Of My Life, Hands Down!I feel like I grew up while I was gone. I met the most amazing people and got to see things I only dreamed about. I saw and experienced a new culture and lived outside my comfort zone and that only builds character and strength. |
