Great Time In Paris With Isa

Study abroad is a great experience! The amount of knowledge you gain from traveling, meeting new people, and, learning about yourself is incredible! My only advice is: Travel and Study as much as you can!

Live, Learn And Love Paris

My experience was absolutely worthwhile. I was nervous to go abroad, especially for an entire semester, but the experience taught me about myself and my life style. Living in another culture really teaches you about yourself and how you relate to the world. It opens your mind to a new way of life and living that will change you ...

Internalizing International Study

The summer program was not long enough. If I were to do this again I would go for the semester abroad or year abroad program. But definitely go for it-- the experience is well worth the price.

Learning French And Drinking Wine

I would certainly do it again if I could. It is interesting to see how European perspectives differ.

Study In France! Pay Isa Lots Of Money, Bring Lots Of Money, And Try Not Too Eat Too Much!

It was worthwhile in that I gained a better understanding of the difficulties of living as an expatriate, and of the

Semester In Paris, Memories For Life

Created an addiction for traveling. 6 months later I graduated and went on a 10 week backpacking trip to 8 countries in Southeast Asia. I was so comfortable traveling out of a backpack after my 4 months in Europe. Now that I work full time, I went on the longest vacation possible, 2 weeks to Peru a few months ago. I am determine...

Paris Is An Amazing City!

I was afraid I would find an overrated city when I went to Paris, but it far exceeded my expectations. The city is simply incredible! You can gain free entry to almost all of the museums with your student ID and there are so many other things to do. It has something for everyone! I miss Paris a lot and hope I can return soon.

Paris, Truly A Moveable Feast

My experience instilled a love for traveling and a sort of fearlessness to just venture out and explore other countries despite knowing very little about the language and/or geography. While I research extensively now, I also know that I will enjoy a city/country if all I had was a tourist map to get me around. And I met quite a...

Studying Abroad In Paris Was The Experience Of A Lifetime!

My study abroad experience in Paris, France definitely changed my life for the better. My French improved significantly and I learned so much about the French culture and people that is not possible in a classroom. It was challenging being a foreigner in another country, but that experience was humbling and taught me a lot abo...

Becoming A Parisienne: My Delicious Semester With Isa

Living in Paris gave me an entirely new perspective on the world. One can read about other places, but actually living them gives new meaning to their different ways of doing things. For example, health care doesn't have to cost a fortune. Neither does school.

With Out Study Abroad, I Would Not Have The Job That I Do Now.

If I had not studied abroad, I would not be as effective an educator as I am now. I teach French and regularly share the knowledge and cultural experiences that I gained during my study abroad. I highly recommend ISA to all of my students now because of their amazing staff and organization of the entire experience. I've studied ...

Studying In Paris, France Helped Me Re Decide And Find Once Again Why I Choose To Study French.

Helped me see culture from an inside view, instead of outside. I hope to work for the U.N. one day, and I am not studying Spanish.

After Living A Year In France I Can't Wait To Go Back

Studying abroad definitely helped improve my language abilities to a level that I now feel comfortable interacting with francophones in daily life. It also helped confirm my passion for European History which I am continuing to pursue two years after my time abroad.

Studying abroad was one of the most rewarding experiences I've had in my life. I never thought it would be so incredible and that I would fall so in love with a country. I would not have traded my experience for anything, and can't wait to return to Paris.

It has been incredible! It has given me a lot of self-confidence, and has shown me that I am very self-reliant. It has given me a different perspective of myself and my country, as well as people from other countries. I've learned to travel, get lost, and explore.
