I thuroughly enjoyed my study abroad experience. The classes were the appropriate level of difficulty to allow me to learn inside and outside the classroom by having various travel experiences.

The program facilitated everything that I wanted in a study abroad experience. The classes were fitting and the travel experiences were amazing and educational.

* Housing:

I absolutely loved my host family. Everything about my experience was authentic and pleasant. I truly felt a part of the family and comfortable with my living arrangements. My spanish ability increased drastically becasue of my host parents.

* Food:

My host parents were amazing cooks and I loved the authenticity of every meal.

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I had a great time in the night life and with my traveling.

I practived language with the staff and instructors at IES as well as with my host family. Living with a host family was what improved my spanish the most because I used it in actual situations.

A Look Back

* If you could do it all over again, would you choose the same program? Yes
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Take complete advantage of every second you have abraod. Travel a lot and spare no expense because it will be the best time of your life.
* What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile? The study abroad experience was absolutely worthwhile. I enjoyed every minute of my trip. There was nothing I would change. Every single day was a unique unreplaceable experience. I truly had the best summer i've ever had.
