Life ChangingStudying in Denmark was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have become a more confidence and independent individual. I made great friends that I know I will keep in touch with. I also gained an appreciation for different cultures. |

Copenhagen: Challenging Yet Rewarding!I definitely grew in confidence of who I am.. I learned to be independent and more confident in my choices. Europe is a whole new place and I think studying abroad is a very eye opening experience to see that there is more out there. Very great people who all speak English and are willing to help you if you need it. |

Copenhagen: Rewarding, And AmazingI've been taught cultural differences and stuff over the years, but you don't really get a good understanding and grasp of what these differences might really feel like until you spend plenty of time in another culture seeing all the similarities and differences. I've also really enjoyed learning the history of another country a... |

Danmark: The Happiest Place On Earth, And Here's WhyI had never been outside of the country before going to Denmark. I treated my stay there as a gateway into other EU countries and one non-EU country, Russia. I experienced incredible cultures and customs. I still plan on going to medical school, but the introduction to the medical field that I received from DIS will be very bene... |

Rewarding ExperienceThe most important quality I gained in Denmark is open-mindedness. I learned to be more receptive to a foreign culture, as opposed to sticking to my comfort zone. |

A Good Semester In EuropeYes it was worthwhile. It satisfied my academic/intellectual interests (urban studies). It provided a good break from the stressful environment at Wellesley and gave me a good perspective moving forward. I also value my travel experience in Europe very much. Opened my eyes to a lot of things and will serve as a source of inspira... |

Denmark: Hands Down The Best Place To Study Abroad. My study abroad experience was everything I imagined it to be and more. I returned to the States as someone who appreciates different cultures and people. I've grown in the sense that I feel confident to go to foreign places and immerse myself in that culture. |

Copenhagen: Best Time Of My Life, So Much Activity!I got to see the world from a whole new perspective. I think it made me become a more open person in general. I definitely feel more cultural, and I know that I want to travel around Europe more in the future (when I have a real job and money). My academic interests have changed slightly but my future plan is still the same. ... |

Dis A Comfortable And Cozy Introduction To DenmarkLiving and learning abroad is tough. I think I am most glad I got to broaden my academic interests through my time in Copenhagen but I don't think Denmark and I fit together well. There are too many things I like about America for me to think about staying for longer in Scandinavia. I also did not find the culture attractive or ... |

Copenhagen A Very Livable City. The other kids in the program made my experience fun and exciting because my housing made it somewhat difficult to integrate with Danes |
