Language acquisition improvement?

We mostly practiced in the classroom. The Danes are very proficient English speakers; therefore when you when out into Copenhagen, Danes would prefer to speak English than Danish. This made it hard to practice.

A Look Back

* If you could do it all over again, would you choose the same program? No
* What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile? It was worthwhile...I learned a lot and am I more evolved young woman now. However the people on my program were all from the East Coast and were wealthy, privileged and apathetic. I had a hard time connecting with them. The Danes were also challenging to get to know. My living situation was isolating and disappointing.
