The trajectory of my entire life changed because I studied abroad. And I cannot imagine my life without it now. Since Rome, I've also lived in London and Chicago, and I'm getting ready for a move to NYC. Rome - Loved the city, hated the Romans

The work was challenging; however, when it came to grading, the professors didn't really care. I did all the assignments, received nothing less than a B+, and attended every class and received the same grades as my roommate who missed most of the classes and did not do as well on the assignments. It seems as if the professor gave everyone a B or B+ dependent upon whether... view full review

The study abroad experience has changed my life so profoundly. I gained a confidence I didn't have before that comes only from knowing that you can go out into the world and not only survive it, but have an amazing time in it! Studying abroad was one of the best decisions I made in college. Although I was very well traveled, I'd never been to Rome. I'm happy that I took many trips throughout Italy and really got to know the country I was studying in. The school is very disorganized. It states that it an American University in Rome and that it operates the same way that schools back in America do, but it doesn't. The curriculum is very different from what you would expect and takes some getting used to. The classes are very small and the degree seeking students are often very cold toward the study aboard students. T... view full review
