Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Workload was less and the grading system was very different especially how you turned in your work to an office and not your professor directly. While the class time was significantly less, I took mostly studio art courses that required a lot of work time outside of class. I did significantly less reading for my courses then I do in America, and I feel that the educational style allowed me to learn through experience more than discussion.

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

A Look Back

* If you could do it all over again, would you choose the same program? Yes
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? A student that wants to live on their own in an amazing city.
* What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile? Yes because I learned a lot about myself, living in a city and also about my area of study (art). I could not have learned what I did while staying at school because it is such a sheltered bubble here. I feel more capable and mature because of the experience.
