The CIEE Language and Culture program in Lima is designed for students interested in advancing their beginner or intermediate Spanish skills while learning about Peruvian culture, history, and society.

Program Snapshot:
- Prepare for the semester with an intensive, two-week Spanish language course
-Take a semester-long Spanish language course; and courses on Peruvian history, culture, and society, taught in English
-Live in a Peruvian homestay and be immersed in the language and culture
-Travel outside of Lima to a cultural and historical heritage site, such as Machu Picchu; visit museums, theaters, and galleries; take excursions to such places as Lunahuaná, a town located in a river valley
