Turkey Is A Very Welcoming Place

Yes, my study abroad program was very worthwhile. I understood how to live in a completely different place and culture and came to learn what others think of my own culture by engaging with the locals.

Turkey: Unique And Fun!

My study abroad was DEFINITELY worthwhile. It was such an experience to be in a different country for that amount of time. It was definitely a huge growing experience to travel alone, to manage a budget, to learn in a completely different educational system, and be surrounded by a new language.

Türkiye Seviyourum

My time in Turkey was without a doubt the best four months of my life so far. The people are extremely friendly, the culture and history is incredible, and you will meet some truly amazing people.

Istanbul: A City, And An Experience, Of Differences

While I had an excellent and very rewarding experience, my time abroad has shown me that I no longer have the desire to live abroad that I did before coming here and actually trying my hand at it. I feel like I also understand people, and myself, much better.

Turkish Time Such An Amazing Experience

I went into the experience as a blank slate--not really knowing what to expect but it turned out amazing and I wouldn't change a thing. I would like to take ALL THE TURKISH FOOD back to the USA!

My academic career was negatively impacted, I got poor grades because I used critical thinking and developed my own opinions, and my opinion of a perfectly good country and culture was pretty tarnished. I wish someone had told me all of this before I made the mist...

I learned a lot about Turkey. At the end of the day the friends I made on the program balanced out most of the negative aspects.
