Go somewhere every weekend. In the Gold Coast, there is SO much around you and SO much opportunity to see a wide variety of things. I also enjoyed visiting New Zealand very much. Just use your breaks and weekends to the fullest. And if possible, try to have no Friday classes, so you can have an even longer weekend to travel. This was great! view full review

If you are looking for a chance to meet students from both all over the US and all over the world, be within walking distance of a beach and be in the shorts for 4 months straight, Bond University is for you! I think that study abroad is one of the most amazing experiences and is well worth every pennie. This has made me realize so many things about my life that I dont know if i would have had i not went abroad. I would go again and recommend this program to anyone. My biggest issue was I was sick while I was there and getting health care was not the easiest. I think if I was to do this again I would check a little more into the health care - I did check and was told there was a doctor on site but wasn't told that he/she was hardly ever available. excellent learning environment with great teachers and classes. There are a lot less aspect that make up your overall grade, usually a midterm, semester project and a final. All staff were friendly and helpful, also understanding of study abroad needs. view full review

My advice to any students considering joining this particular program abroad or on their way to studying on the Gold Coast, Australia would be to take everything in and enjoy the moment. My time abroad flew by and I'm so glad I took the time to enjoy everything. Don't let anything get you down and do as much as you can do. MY experience was definitely worthwhile, i would do it again in a heartbeat and i am considering moving there permanently. I think i am the epitome of an abroad success.
