Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The workload was not bad at all, and although there was homework it did not take up all your time. The teachers were all great, and it was a really interesting experience to have British professors.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

CAPA did an amazing job during my semester at London. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and are always available if you need help with anything. The CAPA staff made my semester that much better!

* Housing:

I loved our flat in London, it was in a great location near Victoria Station, and was only two stops away on the tube from CAPA. The flats supplied all of our basics, such as beds, sheets, and kitchen utensils.

* Food:

I loved the food! Pub grub is amazing and relatively cheap for London, but there is also amazing Indian food everywhere, be sure to check out Brick Lane!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I had so many amazing experiences while at CAPA, but I really enjoyed our trip to Stonehenge and Bath that CAPA planned for us right after our arrival in London. They also organized a tour of the city for us, which was really great and helped me to orient myself in a new city.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I never felt unsafe while in London, and did not have any medical issues.

* Home Institution Advising:

How well did University of Delaware prepare and support you for your time abroad?

Finances

A Look Back

* If you could do it all over again, would you choose the same program? Yes
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Just go for it! My semester in London was the best 4 months of my life, and I made so many new friends and had the opportunity to travel all around Europe and see so many new places! It was incredible!
* What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile? I learned so much about British culture, and how different England is from the US. I also gained a new global perspective, and learned how other countries view major world issues.
