Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The student did as much work as they wanted to. The teachers were not pushing the sstudents to do the assigned reading. There were no critia sheets for assignments. There was a brief discription of what needed to be completed for the assignment and the student had to decide what they needed to do in order to get an A.

I made all my meals which required me to foodshop. It took a while for me to get use to, but it worked out well. A lot of pus have specials.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

We went on a boat cruise for orientation. That got me familiar with the city.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I felt very safe in the city. If you are street smart, you will be fine. Knock on wood I did not have to use any healther services.

* Home Institution Advising:

How well did Providence College prepare and support you for your time abroad?

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Depending on the area you live in, can have affect on the price on food and other items.
