Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

the workload was much easier, which allowed us to experience London and other cites within Europe. Grading and teaching was relatively similar with a strong focus on the use of power points.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

They were great at setting up programs for the students, organization of classes and internships was done well. However, basic correspondence program administration was difficult. The program was relatively decent size and my expectations were met.

* Housing:

I lived in a very safe neighborhood and the program stressed safety so that was quite comforting. I needed to by extra pillows and sheets. We were close to classes, but not nearly as close to the nightlife.

* Food:

your in a major city, very easy to find and cook for yourself depending on whatever diet you may have

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Architecture class we took field trips every class to important places in London, great experience

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I had no issues with safety and health during my time abroad. I think this was because the advice our program gave us.

* Home Institution Advising:

How well did Providence College prepare and support you for your time abroad?

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? budget yourself
