Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

There is much more required class time for each course. Not as many assignments, homework, quizzes, or exams, but the information is much more in depth and difficult than my home university.

On-site administration of your program

Working with the Study Abroad Office can take alot of time and patience.

A Look Back

* If you could do it all over again, would you choose the same program? Yes
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? A student that would benefit is one that is open for opportunity and new beginnings. You will learn more than you ever thought, and need to be ready to live on your own. Australearn really helps you whenever you need someone to ask questions. They need to be aware how much everything will change with communicating to family members.
* What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile? I gained a whole new outlook on life. I am more independent and responsible.
