Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The University of Newcastle was awesome! The classes were challenging but totally doable, and I learned a lot from them.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Australearn was very helpful by setting up everything we would need while we were abroad. They didn't really have a presence on campus but it wasn't really necessary anyway.

* Housing:

I really loved living in the dorms with other Australian and international students. It was a great way to really experience life in Australia and further understand their culture.

* Food:

Australia has wonderful food but depending on the exchange rate it can be quite expensive.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The University of Newcastle is located very close to Sydney which was great for spending weekends in the city. We were also able to learn about the city of Newcastle's history, experience its beautiful beaches, go sand surfing at a near by town, and visit the wine country which was about an hour from the city.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

* Home Institution Advising:

How well did University of Arizona prepare and support you for your time abroad?

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)
