Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

great classes, informative, friendly and knowledgeable professors.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

staff were friendly and knowledgeable. informed on what we should expect from australia.

* Housing:

internet was slow and finicky, but overall great people and good times.

* Food:

provide your own, but not far from vic market or a tram ride to the supermarket. and a 7/11 next door.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

had time to get around the country, including Brisbane, sydney, adelaide and tasmania.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

hospital was right across the road...couldn't be more medically safe.

How well did University of Hartford prepare and support you for your time abroad?

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? australearn is a comprehensive program with a decent introductory program and good advisors. and university of melbourne was an exceptional school.
* What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile? yes, definitely.
