You'll be able to enroll in two or three, three-credit courses, for a total of 6–9 credits. Because daily use of spoken Spanish is emphasized across the program and all courses are taught in Spanish, minimum admissions qualifications require that you have completed at least two semesters of post-secondary level Spanish.

To give you the opportunity to learn as much as possible about Spanish history and culture, all of the courses incorporate these themes. You'll find offerings in such areas as Spanish language, literature, history and politics, ethnology, and art history. There is also the possibility to complete an internship.

Compelling and thought-provoking courses offered during past summers have included 20th Century Spanish Literature, Master Painters of Spain, the Cultural Heritage of Spain, and the Ethnology and Folklore of the Iberian Peninsula. In addition, if you want to advance and/or refine your Spanish language skills, the Fundación offers intermediate- and advanced-level Spanish language courses.
