Students at all levels of Spanish can be accommodated in Granada. Students will earn 6 credits per session and can choose to participate in either one or both summer sessions for a total of 12 credits.

Option 1: Intensive Spanish Language Program
The Intensive Spanish language program is designed for students who wish to initiate or improve upon their knowledge of Spanish. Classes run Monday through Friday for 4 hours per day and class sizes are small (the average class consists of 12 students) in order to maximize the learning environment. A primarily communicative approach is used in these courses and the methodology is supported by the most up-to-date audiovisual technology.

Option 2: Intensive Spanish Language and Culture Program
Students must place into Intermediate A to be eligible for this option. Students will take 40 hours of Spanish language and may choose two 20-hour modules from one of the following topic areas (taken together for 3 semester hours of credit) for a total of 6 semester hours of credit.
