Among Trinity’s hundreds of course offerings, you’ll need to focus on one subject area. Careful consideration of exactly what you would like to pursue is very important because at Trinity you can expect to take all of your courses within a single teaching department (such as English or Art History) or within a specific interdisciplinary faculty (such as Business, Economics, and Social Science) that encompasses two or three subjects exclusively.

Study abroad students have the option to apply for Trinity’s Semester Start-Up Program (SSP) prior to the start of the fall semester. The SSP runs for three weeks and focuses on several areas of Irish Studies. This optional course will be worth 2.5 American credits (5 ECTS credits). Students are not allowed to attend the SSP without enrolling for the fall semester, as well.

The academic year at Trinity used to be divided into three terms of uneven length; however now Trinity’s academic year is split into two semesters: fall and spring. The fall semester (without adding the optional SSP pre-session) consists of 12 teaching weeks; the spring semester consists of 13 teaching weeks. The Arcadia University College of Global Studies program at Trinity is available to students for the semester or academic year.
