* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Homestay, homestay, homestay.
* What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile? Yes! The language skills I gained from my time in Grenoble have set me on a trajectory towards a positive and opportune future. I have already graduated from college and in the year between returning from my study abroad, I spent a summer on an independent research project trip in Uganda (time abroad in France gained skills for traveling for long periods of time abroad and balancing multiple passions) as well as a four month internship at the US Dept of State US Mission to the UN where French skills were a huge asset to my experience gained. I plan to use my French skills in my future career opportunities and carry my abroad experiences with me forever.
