everything was great; it was an amazing experience. work load was fine.

On-site administration of your program

Even when we were evacuated for a flood, we were completely taken care of. Claire was awesome and was really helpful.

* Housing:

My roommates were nice and I am still in touch with my Irish roommate. I had plenty of room and my own bathroom.

* Food:

the food was good; for the most part i pretty much provided my own food.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

there was plenty of opportunity to join in clubs and organizations. everyone was really helpful if i needed anything or had questions.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

i felt safe. we were told where we shouldn't go, but the city overall felt very safe and i never felt as if i had to worry.

A Look Back

* If you could do it all over again, would you choose the same program? Yes
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? DO IT! Ireland (Cork) is amazing; travel as much as you can. Try as much as you can. Join as many clubs and organizations as you can. It will feel like home!
* What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile? Absolutely. I learned more about the Irish culture and the European culture. i also met a lot of international students there so it broaden my horizons.
