Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

* Housing:

I lived with another American girl and 2 Australian guys and 1 Turkish guy. They were quite messy, but it worked out fine.

* Food:

We only got $200 for food each month and that was American money and everything in Australia is more expensive.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Each month we had group events and that was a lot of fun. We got to do many things that we may not have done unless the program organized it for us, for example going to the Reef. That trip should have been longer!

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

* Home Institution Advising:

How well did Wartburg College prepare and support you for your time abroad?

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I probably spend about $100 a week. Some weeks more than others.
