Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Professor was exceedingly helpful and interested in students. Subject matter was relevant and easily learned. Very manageable workload.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Program leaders were always available for questions and were there every step of the way. Very friendly staff interested in all students.

* Housing:

very safe area, great location, helpful staff and maintenance

* Food:

great food!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Great to meet other Americans as well as experiences with local citizens

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

* Home Institution Advising:

How well did Illinois State University prepare and support you for your time abroad?

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Each meal was around 8 euro, so roughly 12 dollars. I would spend about 200 dollars per week maybe more with gifts
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? I did not anticipate spending as much as I did on gifts.

Language

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? None
