Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

It was not a very big difference and was definitely accessible

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Everyone was very helpful and always available to help with any questions of concerns.

* Housing:

Kensington was an amazing place to live for three weeks. I felt very safe in the neighborhood. The only thing I did not like about our program's housing was that some rooms got bed bugs. However, I understand that this is sometimes something that cannot be avoided with all of the traveling. The RD was also very helpful for me because she got me a single room since I have an allergy to peanuts.

* Food:

We had a 60 Pound credit card that we used. I thought this worked great!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I really enjoyed the programs. I just wish I were there longer to do some of the other ones as well!

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

The only thing that made me nervous was that someone from the neighborhood wondered into our dorm one night.

* Home Institution Advising:

How well did Elizabethtown College prepare and support you for your time abroad?

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

A Look Back

* If you could do it all over again, would you choose the same program? Yes
* What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile? Absolutely! I was amazing to experience a new country with different customs than your own. I would do it again in a heartbeat!
