Studying In Granada Was Lifechanging And Unforgettable

This experience was life-changing. I have talked with my American friends that I made through my program while being back in the states and we have all talked about how we have changed. and it's not necessarily something you can put into words. But living in a foreign country is something that not many people get to do. And l...

Granada: The Best Time Of My Life

I learned a lot about how big the world really is and how to expand my horizons and be open-minded towards new people and places. I saw a different type of culture that reminds me to be appreciative and loving towards my family and how money isn't everything.

Granada, Spain: The Best Summer Of My Life

I was able to improve my Spanish language skills, learn to adjust to new situations and I made new best friends. It made me more aware of other cultures and made me want to experience other cultures. The history of Spain and the beauty of it made me appreciate every day that I was there. I wouldn't have wanted a different experi...

Aifs In Granada: Best Decision I Ever Made!!

YES! This was the best thing I've ever done with my life. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. This program has increased my love for the Spanish language and culture even more than before. I didn't even know that was possible!

Vida Granadina Only The Best!

This experience is something I will remember forever, and I would never take it back for anything. It was so incredible, that I feel there are no words that I could place on the experience that would justify how wonderful it was. I feel so much more culturally aware and appreciative and the semester in Spain helped me determine ...

Viva Granada! An Unforgettable Adventure.

After studying in Granada, I learned to adapt and become more accepting of different people. I made close friendships, and still keep in touch with those friends today. I learned so much about the Spanish culture, and am in love with anything and everything Spanish now. My time abroad was the time of my life. I wouldn't chan...

Granada Spain: There's No Place Like Home

Exceeded my expectations. My only regret is that I wish I would have done a year.

Aifs Granada: Not Just A Program, But A Family

My experience opened up my eyes. I can now see beyond my university and beyond the United States to a whole world that I didn't truly realize was there. It has given me a deeper understanding of other cultures and a greater desire to treat everyone despite what background they have with respect and kindness. I have future plans ...

Granada

my experience was absolutely worthwhile. I learned a lot of Spanish, made some really great friends, and, as with any experience abroad, I expanded my knowledge of new cultures and hopefully gained a little wisdom along the way.

Granada Is The Greatest Student City In The World, I Go To School In Austin.

Well, it helped my Spanish a mountain. I think it showed me that the American way of life is in no way the only way of life.

A Longhorn In Espana

For my career goals I'm still heading the same path. But study abroad had gave me an opportunity to hang out with people that I usually don't see myself with.

I Went To Granada To See The Al Hambra, And I Did. Thrice.

I felt so lost. Spaniards are vain, blunt, and rude. I had the hardest time connecting with Spaniards, and I don't think I'll go back to Spain.

The City That Stole My Heart

My study abroad experience was more than I had ever imagined it would be. I learned so much about Spain, other cultures, and myself. My spanish definitely improved, and I formed some amazing friendships. I have learned to be open to other cultures and experiences, and will forever remember that two people, no matter what country...

I Left My Heart In Granada

The AIFS program was extremely helpful in allowing me to dive into Spanish culture. They provided all of us students with great information about the food, language, places to go, sites to see, and anything else we could think of while living in Granada.

Granada 2010: The Real World

All the money, time and stress pre-departure was TOTALLY worth it. I would not change a single thing about my time abroad and now I am SO eager to travel to Europe again and see everything that I didn't have time to see. I still keep touch with my friends from my program and they will be in my life forever.

I ENJOYED BEING ABROAD AND TRAVELING. I REALLY ENJOYED ISLAMIC CULTURE IN SPAIN- IT WAS THE BEST CLASS I COULD HAVE TAKEN. I WISH THAT I HAD BEEN IN A BIGGER CITY WHERE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN EASIER TO TRAVEL TO OTHER CITIES. IF I WAS DOING IT ALL OVER I WOULD PROBABLY GO WITH A DIFFERENT PROGRAM- ONE THAT OFFERS AN APARTMENT WIT...

It was fun. Like I said, I felt like it was a bit expensive for what we got. Cultural awareness remains unaffected. I miss my professor Carlos and am sad to return to UT classes, I'm going to continue to learn spanish. I want to go back to Spain asap.

Yes. I learned how the rest of the world lived, not just the American lifestyle. I learned to relax so much more and also learned how to live without the everyday comforts that I enjoy in the States. You gain so much more confidence and also learn to be an independent adult. Taking this opportunity will be one of the best you...

It was more than worthwhile. I feel more aware of the world, of Spain in particular. My confidence and communication skills have improved and I have a broader perspective of the world. The only downside is that now I want to travel the world -- but I'm still on a college student's budget!

It was definitely worthwhile. My perspectives have opened up in so many ways. Returning home now has showed me just how much I've grown up and learned; I see very few things the same as I did when I left. The world is a BIG place, and I feel so lucky and educated to have seen so many new parts of it.
