I felt very safe in Florence. There were always people around and we would always go in a group whenever we would go out.

We would practice when we went to eat at or when we would go to the market. We needed to use the language but a lot of the Italians like to practice their English with us.

* If you could do it all over again, would you choose the same program? Yes
* What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile? I would go back in a heart beat if I could. I grew up so much there and also learned a lot about myself and how I can take a culture I do not know and use it in my life here in America.
