Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Workload was manageable and the professors were good.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Was really good except for the fact that they did the orientation after we just got there...all jet lagged and all.

* Housing:

Beds were uncomfortable and the room itself had no control over the heater so nights were either really hot or really cold. Really didn't like this aspect of the experience.

* Food:

Food was edible if a little spicy at times.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Pony trekking in Wales was one of the best trips the school had and was a huge blast.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Very safe for tourists.

* Home Institution Advising:

How well did Bethel University & Seminary prepare and support you for your time abroad?

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

  • Location and no language barrier
* What could be improved?
  • Nothing I can think of.
* If you could do it all over again, would you choose the same program? Yes
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Do it, but bring money as you'll be needing it for airfare to different surrounding countries.
* What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile? With the friends and memories I made, i'll never regret it.
