Queen Mary, University of London has an international reputation for quality, achievement and research success across its Faculties of Art,
Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, Law and Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Medicine and Dentistry. The fully enclosed campus is based at Mile End, about two miles from St Paul’s Cathedral and the Tower of London. The main campus building dates from 1887, but the sixteen-acre site consists mainly of modern, purpose-built buildings which house the five faculties and administrative offices, and include the Great Hall, a new library, bank, bookshop, health center, student residences and the Student Union.

I had an exceptional time in London, and would highly recommend it as a place to study abroad. Interstudy does a fine job at helping you to get settled, work out your schedule and connecting you with resources in the city. As with any new experience, you should be prepared to make adjustments to the style of British universities, including enrolling in courses. A littl... view full review

Inerstudy London was intellectually and culturally stimulating

I gained a perspective on international cultures as well as a new perspective of my own culture back home. The academic structure is very different in England and may be difficult to get used to but I can picture myself going back to study further. view full review

The courseload was a lot less than what I was used to. I found extra time in my days that I never had before. None of the classes had assigned textbooks, but they did provide large packets for notes. Registration was a bit confusing, and I was surprised at the lack of respect many students had for the professors. I felt that I had to teach myself a lot of the material to t... view full review

Extremely dedicated course leaders. No busy work. Actual class time was minimal, and grades were based on only 2 or 3 pieces of coursework per class. view full review
