Once I graduate I want to work in international education. Having an internship abroad would be a great opportunity for me to get experience in another country for my future career. I am really passionate about helping students find what they want to do and learning more about their background. In my travels, I have learned so much not only about others, but so much about myself and how my culture differs. It has made me really appreciate the world. I also think having an internship in Spain will create countless opportunities that I would not be able to have if not. Whoever does receive the scholarship will have the ability to travel through Spain, learn how other people live life, and create bonds and connections during the internship. In addition, I want to apply my education to my internship and apply my internship to my education. For me, education and learning is continuous and I try to get as much out of something as I possibly can. -

Barcelona is my favorite city in the world. I am hoping to attend graduate school next year in International Communications, and will focus on cross-cultural communications, public diplomacy, and international exchange. I'm very interested in breaking into the field of international exchanges since my passion is cross-cultural understanding and traveling. More specifically I hope to help with structuring international exchange programs to promote more cultural sensitivity and allow others to have the same eye-opening experiences I had abroad, helping them to utilize those skills as much as possible. This scholarship will allow me to really immerse myself in Barcelona through interning and will also allow me to research further the field of international exchanges first-hand, including program development and perceptions of the individuals partaking in it. I will not be able to afford the trip otherwise, and this would be my dream experience! -

Growing up with nothing inspires you and motivates you to strive for success. Being the underdog is hard, but it proves you have not 'bought' your talents and skills or opportunities, you've worked for them. I believe i deserve this because i am just like you. I still live in a commission home in almost the lowest socio-economic area in the state. I want to see the world, without this, I may never afford it. Australia is interesting, but does not have a strong cultural history that we relate with. This scholarship will give me that step that can propel me into a formal career and see other cultures. -

I am deserving in this wonderful scholarship because as a nurse and base on my training during i was in the field of study my skills of being a professional career it really help in doing different task or any situation would be. And the reason also why this is deserving for me because i want to explore more trainings and more knowledge's of being a professional career as a nurse.
